Underwater: (2020) | Early pressurized "Pontus" mech-suit

Without a doubt, one of the most fun and challenging builds to work on with the talented 3D design team led by Darnell Isom over at Legacy effects. This here is an early pressurized "Pontus" mech-suit concept (Zbrush / photoshop paint-over) - We ended up changing the design; not just adding more detail and variety in 3D, but designing them around professional diving equipment to make them function underwater. ..build an underwater suit they said. Though, design and 3D printing a suit is one thing, huge props to the practical shop crew who worked tirelessly to fabricate these hyper realistic / functional suits
